The on-board unit and the on-board announcer

• Connect with the GPS and use the GPRS to pass the information to the network control center in the most accurate and fastest way.
• The GPRS passes the information between the network control center and the bus driver, in order to give the best quality and safety to the passenger; such as passing the message to the driver who can handle the balance of safety distances with other buses.
• The fully automatic on-board announcer present the bus current location to the passenger accurately and immediately.
• The on-board units also offer the 'Key pad' to change the bus route which can save 20 bus route, also pressing the emergency button can let the network control center know the driver is in a dangerous situation.

The Network Control Center

• The duty of the network control center is to receive and send the information between the bus and the e-station, such as the bus position and arrival time.
• The simple Web-GIS on the web which present the location of all buses when you choose the route number in the screen.
• Produce the accurate information to the bus companies, which can utilize the information to schedule service interval more efficiently. The information is also archived for future reference.

E-Station

• The e-bus stations present the information about the bus route number, the bus position, the numbers of the bus stops between the current stop, and the arrival time.
• Every e-station shows the message on a LED (size: about 22cm× , 16×16×12 words, about 24 English characters). The LED show the message in the Scrolling way, each message displayed for three seconds and every 15-20 seconds as updated information becomes available. Also every e-station can show the information about 4 bus routes.

The Web- Server

• Using the internet it offer the simple Web-GIS for every bus route, every client can use the browser to choose the bus route with a mouse click, which shows the bus position, arrival time in each e-station, the directions of travel are indicated by different colors.

Voice Recognition

• The intelligent voice recognition system is a great offer in the e-bus system. Nowadays, it is easier to use a telephone or mobile phone to find out the location of the bus. Also you can easily catch the bus, only with your voice in anytime, anywhere.
• This voice recognition system works in the following languages, such as: English German, Japanese, French, Chinese, and Spanish…According to the record in Taipei government, the intelligent voice recognition system has been successful for more than 97%, which is a great resource for the passengers.
